Private document storage
Uploaded documents are kept in private storage. They're never publicly reachable, and access is tied to your signed-in account.

Secure authentication
Your account is protected by authenticated sessions. Your return and documents are only available once you've signed in.

Encrypted connections
Everything between your browser and TaxGo travels over HTTPS, so documents and figures are encrypted in transit.

Row-level access controls
Our database enforces row-level security: every return, document and answer is locked to the account that owns it. Your data can't be read by another customer.

Audit trail
Uploads, extracted figures, edits, calculations and approvals are recorded, so every number on your return can be traced back to where it came from.

HMRC connection, where available
Where HMRC submission is available, TaxGo connects using HMRC's own authorisation, so you grant access through HMRC directly.
