How TaxGo handles it
- 01
Salary + dividends, stacked correctly
TaxGo taxes your salary first, then stacks dividends on top, applying the dividend allowance and the right rate for each band. You see exactly how every pound is taxed.
- 02
Multiple directorships
Director of more than one company? Upload P60s and dividend vouchers from each. TaxGo combines them into one return with your personal allowance applied once.
- 03
Benefits in kind
Company car, fuel, private medical, beneficial loans — upload your P11D and TaxGo extracts each benefit and adds its taxable value to your return.
- 04
Savings and pensions too
Personal bank interest, pension contributions and Gift Aid sit alongside your director income, so the whole picture is calculated together.

Common questions
Asked andanswered.
Dividends are taxed at 8.75% (basic), 33.75% (higher) and 39.35% (additional), and they don't attract National Insurance. You also get a £500 tax-free dividend allowance. TaxGo applies salary tax first, then stacks dividends on top and calculates the correct rate for each portion.
Your tax return isn't going to do itself.
Actually, TaxGo gets pretty close.
